All-Purpose Batter Mix Instructions - NOT READY TO EAT (NRTE)

  1. Add Water
    Fill a tall, round container with 1½ to 2 quarts (6–8 cups) of cool water.

  2. Mix in Batter
    Whisk in 1 lb. all-purpose batter mix until smooth.

  3. Let Batter Rest
    Allow the batter to stand for 10 minutes before using.

  4. Maintain Proper Temperature
    After mixing, keep the batter at 41°F or below to minimize bacterial growth.

  5. Adjust Batter Thickness (Optional)

    • 6 cups water creates a viscosity similar to buttermilk

    • 8 cups water creates a viscosity similar to milk
