IN THE BIRD STUFFING
6-8 pound chicken or turkey
1/4 cup margarine or butter cut into pieces
1-3/4 cup hot water
1 8oz package Colonna Stuffing Mix
Combine margarine or butter and hot water in a large bowl. Stir until partially melted.
Add stuffing mix. Stir enough just to moisten. Do not stuff bird until ready to roast.
Rinse bird. Pat dry. Do not rub with salt. Stuff lightly with stuffing mix. Roast as directed on poultry wrapper.
Suggestion: Bake remaining stuffing in small covered baking dish with bird for 30 minutes.
